We had some space constraints, so this dryer was selected as a function of it's size. But, the drying performance certainly doesn't match what the larger dryers provide. We just put the clothes on a drying rack once they come out of the dryer and let them air dry which is a work around which works for us.

I've only used the dryer a couple of times. I am pleased with its performance. It's a bit larger than what I previously had but not huge. It's quite large enough and seems to work well. I don't know about the energy used as yet, but I'm sure it'll be fine. It's pretty quiet and controls are easily understood... I am pleased thus far.

I exactly what I expected from GE, a reliable product. However, this 120v model does not dry as fast as standard 240v dryers, but I already new that. It takes a twice as long as standard dryers, but serves my purpose, as a new service panel and or wiring would have to be installed to accommodate a 240v appliance. When the driver delivered the dryer, he opened the door and then closed the door, but the door would not stay closed. He tried to fix it, and somehow it closed. When I setup the dryer, the door would not close again. I fixed it by slightly bending the door tabs to hold firm. I had to turn the tumbler in reverse to stop a metal sliding sound that seemed to indicate being off track. Other than that, I simply have not had a problem with it. I works fine and dries well and when expected. I like reliable products.

I™™m so happy to find a good dryer that will work in my 60 yr old apt that doesn™™t have 220 wiring. This works great with my 110 standard electrical outlet. It isn™™t noisy. I was concerned about reviews that said it is hard to open but that is not the case. It opens easily. Since I am a one person household the smaller capacity is fine for me. I have yet to receive an electric bill but I doubt it will be higher than the 220 dryer I used to have. The negative reviews I read before buying this have not proved to be true with this dryer.

I have the washer and dryer as a stacked unit due to the space allotted for the laundry area. I am unhappy with the flow of the lint. After every load, I am showered with lint when I open the door. Due to the lint trap being so small, I clean it after every load, but it still seems to have a large amount of lint falling from the door. The seal around the inside of the door seems to not be doing its job. I have to literally use a hand vac and vacuum my dryer door after each load to keep the lint from building up on the door and around the seal. Best Buy is bringing me a replacement of the same dryer to see if it is just this dryer unit and we will see if that will fix the problem. If not I am very disappointed in GE for this design. I have always liked GE for their products but this time I am not so sure.

Best space saving dryer EVER. Our condo does not have laundry hookups so we opted for the GE set (versus the expense of remodeling to accomodate a washer & dryer). We couldn't be happier. The dryer lasted 10 years before any issues arised. We replaced it and it's still going strong after 5 years. Also this GE dryer is larger than the competition - making it the best choice. We also have a GE Fridge. GE will always be our favorite brand!

I purchased the this dryer and washer on June 2022. Neither of these appliances have given me issues or problems. The dryer (do not overload) is perfect for towels queen/king sized sheets and comforters. Use the air dry sequence for pillows, bath rugs or other delicates.

So fa we have no complaints with this dryer once it get hot it does what its supposed to do you have to remember its not a full size dryerso it only workslike half of what a full size would do but it does dry you just have to adjust the time settings if you set a full sizeto dry in one hour with this dryer you have to set it for two hours or even maybe two anda half hours you will get the knack of it as you keep using it

Though this dryer was the right size for our smaller space I have been disappointed in it for these reasons. Within the first 2 months the lint door came off from simply closing the door. In trying to thread it back onto the plastic tracks I sliced the heck out of my finger. Poor design!! Now, just over a year later and BEYOND THE ONE YEAR WARRANTY, it is loudly squeaking like it needs a new belt! One year!!! I live in my home 1/2 time so this has had very light residential use. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

For 120 V, I am pleased with the unit, I had initial damage from the factory. I bought this unit from Home Depot. I looked the box over well before loading it myself into my truck. The cardboard box was in perfect condition with factory packaging. However, when I cut the box open, the faceplate was damaged and placed back on with wood screws. the box, in comparison to the lid, was out of square and looked to have been dropped upside down. The dryer works well and it seems to be only cosmetic. Beings it will be in a closet of an RV, my greatest concern was that the machine was able to last for three years or more. Home Depot went above and beyond helping to procure a three year warranty from GE. I figured it was a fair trade off and GE abliged, or at least i'm told if I fill out this registration.

Door is a bit of a pain to open. But washed 6 pairs of cotton shorts (some heavier, some lighter) and a pair of jeans.
LG washer spun at 1400rpm.
Completely dry in less than 90 minutes. But might have been dry earlier, had I checked.

The only reason I give this product a star is for the size. It is perfect for wash loads. On the other hand this dry doesn™™t dry your clothes it takes forever. Your load could be big or small it takes hours to dry.

Nice small dryer, fits the tiny space I have. I like the ability to open the panel on the side to vent on its left side. I did not use the 4 included caster wheels because of the fixed metal vent we installed. I would love for some adjustable feet to be included to raise up the dryer because I have to kneel on the floor to unload the dryer. Emptying the lint screen is tricky because if you dont push screen back really really gently, it pops off the plastic part that holds the screen on and exposes very sharp metal edges of the door interior. Maybe I'll glue that holder in place? Not sure yet.

If you absolutely have limited space, this dryer will fit that criteria. However, for the price I paid, I am very disappointed. It's made and looks very cheap. No, I didn't see it in the store. The salesperson brought it up online and I ordered it that way. It seems to take a very long time to dry items but I'm used to my bigger dryer in my old home.

This dryer is an absolute piece of garbage. If you want something that will ruin your clothes because the clothing gets stuck between the drum and wall or take 4 hours to dry a load of infant clothing while ringing up your electric bill than this is the perfect machine for you. Review guidelines state to contact customer service for immediate attention which is pointless because it would be an absolute miracle if anyone from GE's customer service would call or email you back.

This dryer uses a 120V outlet. It is stackable dryer which using a specific frame that was not covered to be installed by the store of purchase. However, the store did reimburse me about 65% of the cost to have the stacking rack and dryer installed by an outside contractor. The dryer size is medium and works well for weekly needs. Temperature is not as hot as a typical 240V dryer. It was very difficult to find a 120V dryer and this dryer works better than I had expected being a 120V.

Due to my age , back, and knees I had to move a washer and dryer to my small kitchen, They all just fit. For a small machine its runs great and gets hot enough to dry clothes. I wouldn't say this if not true. I would also say if I had a complaint. I also got a GE washer. They both run great and I'm not used to the newer type washer that doesn't fill to the top like the old but it does do a good job however it works. Nothing is perfect thats why it only got a 4 star.
