Two bad ovens in a row can't be a coincident!

We are on our second product. The first one the oven racks would not slide in and out. They brought a second out and installed. The racks worked fine at first but now after 2 weeks they will no longer slide in and out when the oven is hot. They racks have scraped the enamel off the side walls. Poor engineering, all they had to do was make the racks slightly short. The installers told us they have heard this is a recurring issue.

The most frustrating issue with these ovens are the racks. They do not fit well and end up scratching the sides of the oven. When you are using one oven and turn on the light it turns on both oven lights.

The ovens are great overall. However, NEVER use the self cleaning mode. Blew out 2 thermostats using the self cleaning system. The manufacturer should stop making them with this feature, steam cleaning feature only. Incurred a $780 bill plus the repair fee at $178. Extremely frustrating.

Our new oven is beautiful and works well. We're learning to use the air fry feature. It bakes faster and more evenly than the 26 year old oven it replaced. I doubt it will last that long. The installers Michael and Jordan were great.

If you want an oven that looks phenomenal (last piece to kitchen in black stainless) and can do it all, you have found that oven. I had it installed so I can't speak to ease of installation, except, as promised it went in to a previous GE Profile space with no problems. We use convection and air fry often and this offers those options, with convection in upper and lower. I hate making a mess but am anxious to try the steam clean. So far so good, after 3 days. I want to add, I am not a big app fan, but the app for the oven has been easy, and the options sensible. I am looking forward to many years (last oven lasted 23 years) with this oven.

The oven works great! It heats evenly and quickly. Love the touch screen and the ability to preheat from the app on my phone. I was nervous switching to an electric oven from gas, but so far I am very pleased. The only complaint I have is that the shelves stick and are hard to pull in and out (the regular shelves are the problem, the glide shelves work great).

The WiFi feature is nice. They match the black stainless steel of our other GE appliances. They take longer to preheat than the old GE oven they replaced. The vent/cooling? fan continues to run for quite a while after the ovens are turned off.
