I had other brand of dishwasher and never had a problem with it . Since my refrigerator got repaired I changed all my kitchen utilities to LG. The LG dishwasher within 21/2 years it gave me trouble. While the load is running it suddenly stopped and mada a loud noise. And inside the parts all came off. I really upset LG dishwasher . Now I have to change the different brand dishwasher .

Problems from day 1

This dishwasher has had issues from the first day we used it. After multiple visits to stop a leak while it was still under warranty it lasted less than 3 years before the control panel failed. The expensive part is still not in after 5 weeks so we are buying a different brand. Such a disappointment.

LG disappoints yet again-LOOK up their LAWSUITs

We became loyal buyers of LG after upgrading all major kitchen appliances in our previous home. The product quality price point fit our needs when a minor issue came about they 100 took care of us. Two years ago we moved and ordered another full round of LG kitchen appliances and did not consider any other manufacturer. Our appliances were delivered installed professionally in October 2020 and as of October 2022 our dishwasher needs to be replaced. Well either that or pay an LG technician to replace the circulation pump that alone will cost a minimum of what a new dishwasher costs. Despite my efforts on seeking LG to stand behind their products they wont since I did not buy an extended warranty. If this issue was caused by improper use I would understand this however that is not the case This faulty-expensive part on a two year old dishwasher proves that LG has lowered their standards in recent years that is very disappointing scary with a house full of other LG items. Guess Ill just wait for them to be forced into making this issue right with us one day just like the recent class action settlement for faulty compressors in LG refrigerators.

Great dishwasher until the circulation pump failed

Weve had this dishwasher for two years. Small family of 3 so the dishwasher usually runs every other day. After two years the circulation pump failed causing a terrible noise. Waiting on the part which will be installed by a local service company. Disappointed we have to cover the cost of repair and hope the part js warrantied. Before this debacle the machine was great. Quiet well designed racks and I appreciate the app connectivity.

Top notch dishwasher with great racks.

This dishwasher replaced an older machine that we rarely used since it did a mediocre job. You had to was the dishes by hand before loading them to make sure they got everything. This LG dishwasher is fantastic. No pre-wash needed it runs quiet and gets everything sparkling clean. It also has great adjustable racks.

We generally have been happy with the dishwasher but were very disappointed when the control panel started to not work. Looking online this is apparently a problem with moisture getting in due to it not being well sealed. This occurred after two years out of the warranty period. The cost of the replacement and repair was half the dishwasher itself. Theres no guarantee this will not happen again and if it does well likely be looking at a different brand for dishwasher. Everything else in the house is LG so this came as a surprise to us.

I love how well this works. For the last 15 years I have been dissatisfied with all the dishwashers that I have used. This works great its quite works overnight and my dishes are aa clean as they would be if I hand washed them myself.

Smart and high tech

I bought this 10 months ago. I had no problems until a bad storm hit one night and the dishwasher didnt turn on the next morning. I contacted LG and they have scheduled a repair team to come diagnose and fix my dishwasher. Hopefully it is an easy fix and I can be back using my dishwasher soon.

Do not buy - not good

DW does not clean or dry the dishes. Had the tech out here twice and he said thats just the way it is. Had me change detergent 4 times and didnt help. Need to rinse them before or they will not be clean. Even with the overnight drying they come out wet. Tech said to leave the door open ? with kids and pets? top rack is useless. always soaked need to dry everything. Need to bring back the heating element. This is not working

1st LAST LG purchase... Dishwasher review

We purchased over $12k in LG appliances last summer during a holiday sale supposedly saving $4k. I had never purchased LG prior wont be purchasing LG ever again We chose this brand after visiting 7 major appliance/home improvement stores in the area based on GLOWING CUSTOMER REVIEWS The Printproof finish. I chose this particular dishwasher due to claims of exceptionally clean dishes while saving time the top rack was an added bonus So my 1st biggest honestly my only problem with this dishwasher is... It DOES NOT DRY our dishes no matter what setting we choose even on EXTRA DRY Its so bad my dishes stay so wet my silverware metal pans are actually rusting And Im sorry but I dont care how well a dishwasher washes your dishes if it doesnt dry them theyre rusted when you get them out... They ARE NOT CLEAN As I stated in my other reviews we are considering building a new house leaving our house full of the junk LG appliances we purchased a year ago paid $12k for is on our list of pros

I bought this in December of 2020 worked fine for 1 and 12 years and the motor went out. This is under warranty for 10 years but am having trouble getting getting a new motor.

Good Warranty Support

We had the dishwasher for roughly 6 months when the pump started making a high-pitched whine. After submitting a service request I had a technician appointment within a week. It did take a couple visits by the tech but he was outstanding and fully addressed the issue. Working great again. I just hope it isnt a continued issue.

I was asked for an honest review so here goes- We have this dishwasher and it was great until it stopped working. I called multiple times and have not had any success outside of LG sending me a part the wrong one and asking me to install it myself. I recommend not buying this washer as the customer support is shoddy at best.

Very Nice Dishwasher

Seems to do everything a dishwasher is supposed to and has held up over a couple of years. I still seem to always have water on the top of dishes but I havent used Rinse Aid yet so that should help. I also find the basic features plenty for my type of use. Very staisfied.

Love My new LG Dishwasher

After a long and arduous kitchen remodel due to a broken pipe in an exterior wall finally have my new LG Dishwasher installed. It looks go good with the new gray cabinets and white quartz countertops. But looks arent everything. What I really love about my LG dishwasher is the large capacity the ability to move the middle rack up or down to accommodate larger items in the lower rack. Did I say middle rack? Why yes I did There are THREE racks in this stainless steel interior dishwasher It makes cleaning up after one of my marathon baking sessions so easy And I forgot to mention its whisper quiet. Sometimes the only way to know that its running is by the cycle lights on the control panel. Yes I LOVE my LG DISHWASHER

Just what I needed

I like this dishwasher. Two great features are the adjustable top drawer and the silverware tray at the very top. These really help me maximize my use of the available space. I have some dishes that have to be handwashed but I hate adding to that pile because of wasted space in the dishwasher. This is a great product

Great dishwasher

We bought this after replacing our 19 year old dishwasher. We have liked all the setting options and love that the top shelf adjusts. The third rack doesnt hold much but its handy to have. We were surprised that the normal cycle takes over 2 hours. Its significantly quieter than our older model. We did have to buy a magnet that says Clean or Dirty since there is not locking mechanism on the front once the door is open the display that reads End is gone. Weve found it helpful for the 4 kids to not put dirty dishes in the clean tray.

Works great however parts break after 1 year

Ive had this dishwasher for 2 years. After the first year the nE code showed up on the dishwasher. LG customer service said they couldnt do anything but advise us to contact a service technician that knows LG dishwashers. After replacing the Vario Motor the dishwasher worked again. After another year it happened again. The nE error code is a common issue that people do have. There needs to be a recall for this fix. We are going to not going to recommend this dishwasher to anyone.

faulty - broke down exactly after 1 year

about 1 year after usage the dishwasher started to stop mid cycle. upon contacting LG customer service they customer service rep asked to hire an electrician to get all my power outlets checked after numerous calls i got connected to a representative who helped me. Neverthless this product was purchased with high hopes and it failing because of a factory defect after 12 months is ridiculous.

LG -Excellent Dishwaher

I purchased this LG Dishwasher to complete my kitchen remodel to all stainless appliances and all LG Thinq appliances. I did quite a bit of research and having now had it 3 weeks I must say it has exceeded every expectation. It is so quiet I can stand next to it and not know its in cycle. The smart functions and integration with all my other LG home appliances and electronics is excellent but above all the dishes from pots and pans to fine china come out impeccably clean. I highly recommend.

Amazing dishwasher

I was given this as an early Mothers Day gift and I am so pleased with this diashwasher. Love all the features it has. I try to make dirty dishes just to be able to use it. The half load feature is awesome for times when the family comes over for dinner and can do the full load but also need to do just a bit more and not have to wait to get a second full load. Love the fact that it is whisper quiet cant hear it running hardly at all. The third rack is also a nice feature for the bigger utensils and knives.

Nice look and quieter

Our dishwasher was in need of an update since it was a bit loud and I was looking dated. This LG unit is sleek and quiet: advertised as a 46 DB sound level its less noticeable to the ear than our previous unit. Nice look easy to clean stainless and quiet. Seems like we couldve spent much more for a similar product but this one hits the mark.

I bought this product almost a year ago. Overall it performed ok cleaning dishes. Unfortunately a plastic value inside the machine broke when we were not home resulting in a flood through our house causing significant damage. I have not been impressed with LG customer service through the experience as each time I call we seem to start over and new claim number is assigned even though I can provide the previous claim numbers. Given the quality of the internal parts failing after limited use I can not recommend this product.

Quiet and Clean

We bought this dishwater in May of 21 but couldnt install it until January. Now that its installed we love it Its so quiet and really gets the fishes clean. I really like the half load feature too. The items I put upper top tray have to be small and flat and sometimes do not get totally clean. Thats the only negative. Overall this appliance was a good investment.
