It took a while to get use to the features but now I love this oven. The Smart things app allows me to check the oven when I'm not around. The water reservoir is a nice added touch when baking my famous banana bread it comes out really moist and I am always getting compliments on the blue lights . The best part for me is making wings, they come out nice and crispy without having to bread them and door alerts helps out a lot.

1st thing, this oven is great and more than we could ask for. It performs outstanding with every dish tried so far. The convection setting is the most useful for me, it warms and cooks very quick. My wife says her favorite feature is the increased capacity in comparison to our old one. Even though it is within the same footprint, it seems to be about 20 -30% larger inside. It has saved her time being able to prepare multiple dishes at one time.

I was not use to using a conventional oven but I have learned to check my food faster. I was excited by color and design of the oven. The blue lights on the knobs and the black stainless steel makes for a nice touch of class. It has nice extras like the temperature probe, water reservoir and flex duo shelf which separates the upper oven and allows you cook in different temperatures. I can't wait for the holidays.

I am absolutely impressed with the quality and functionality of this double oven. It saved me so much time cooking Thanksgiving dinner. The top ove. Has a smart separation board that allows you to have two different cooking temperatures in the top oven then a third in the bottom oven. It has all sorts of fancy features. Delay cooking , I am also able to set a timer so the oven turns off. It is wifi capable and very convenient. I would definitely received this.

We have loved this oven so far. It is beautiful! The black stainless is a gorgeous color. The blue light that the knobs have when the oven is on is a nice touch. The touch screen makes it very easy to set the temperature and timers. There are several settings for the clock display, which makes it nice to be able to customize it to your liking, and have the clock displayed even when the oven is off. The roll out racks make it easy to get food in and out of the oven. They also lock in place so you can't pull them too far out. There has been only one con we've had so far, and is that I do wish the volume could be a tad louder. It's fine if you are working in the kitchen, but if you may not hear your timer going off if you are in another room. The low volume on the timer is the only reason I dropped it from five to four stars. All in all I give this product two thumbs up.

i purchased this oven a little over two years ago. while running the self cleaning cycle the oven died and stopped responding. blank screen and doors locked. i had a repair guy come out who said this is a common problem and that the self cleaning cycle gets it to hot and they easily break!!! he looked up all the parts that need repaired and its going to cost half the price of the oven!!! not a happy customer here!

we have had these double wall ovens for 1.5 years. didn't use them a ton but i decided to do a self clean cycle on the top oven and the oven doors are now both locked and the screen is dead. samsung wants us to pay for someone to come diagnose the problem then who knows how much more to fix it. very annoying that these didn't even make it to 2 years. garbage product and i wish we went with something more reliable like kitchen aid we just liked the black stainless on this. never again

My new double ovens were finally delivered and installed, and I couldn't be more pleased. They are an amazing addition to my kitchen. I installed the 30" Flex Duo Double Wall Oven in Black Stainless and they look great! They look both sleek and stylish both inside and out. As soon as they were ready, I started cooking things I haven't tried in years just to see how they would turn out. I have baked breads, cooked casseroles, pot roast, and cookies to name a few. They all turned out perfect without any burning or over cooking.
There are several features that I love about these ovens. The oven racks are much stronger than my last oven. I can finally use by cast iron pots without feeling like the racks will give out under the extra weight. The racks with the built-in slide are super helpful and easy to use. I really like the look of the combination of the digital and analog dials. Together, they make a high-end oven easy to use.
The smart home option is a great feature with these ovens. I can turn it on remotely so that it saves me time preheating when I get home. I can also use the app to check the temperature and timer so that I can keep an eye on it if I am in another location. The digital interface is simple and straightforward to use.
Overall, I would give Samsung extremely high marks on their double ovens for both design and ease of use. They have added a lot of features that makes it a great addition to any kitchen. I happily recommend this product to anyone.

We are happy to have the Samsung NV51K7770DG Double Oven installed in our house. After three weeks of using it I am still finding new features to like. We cook all the time and have parties often. The Flex-Duo feature is definitely one of our favorite features. The ability to use convection on both halves of the upper double oven makes baking a breeze.
Working through the menus took a bit of time but everything is laid out well. As an avid baker I carefully calibrated the oven with a digital oven thermometer and was pleased to find that after being on for 45 minutes the oven variance between actual temperature and displayed temperature is was only 3 degrees. Via the settings I was able to adjust the oven variance and now the temperature is spot on. This makes a huge difference and is peace of mind when baking finicky desserts like souffles.
Having the ability to steam bake has been a game changer when baking breads and I'm exploring steam roasting. We enjoyed a deliciously moist leg of lamb that could have turned out dry but due to the steam was perfect. The wifi option has been good so far. The ability to check temperature from afar is neat. I've run errands while braising dishes and like that I can turn down the oven when necessary. I've yet to use the self clean function, but am sure like everything else Samsung it will work great.
No complaints so far! I've been recommending Samsung ovens to everyone I know.

I've had my Samsung NV51K7770 installed for a little over a week now and it has been amazing to use. As of late I've been baking a lot of bread and having the steam oven feature has been huge. I've been able to make sourdough and rye that rivals a good French bakery. The look of the oven is great, having a large display and fully lit control knobs are features that give it the look of quality.
Pros so far:
The steam - see above
Using the partition to create a 3rd oven - this has already proved itself helpful when baking a large meal
The meat probe - if used correctly you should never overcook a roast again
Sliding racks - these are perfect for one handed swapping of trays of cookies or checking the status of a roast
Cons:
I wish the timer was louder - can't seem to find a setting to increase the volume
The clock display goes dark after an hour - again I can't find a setting to keep this one all the time
Overall, I'm still discovering features and each time I turn it on I find something new that amazes me. As time goes on I am excited to use more of the innovate features. I have just stared using the "healthy cook" and "gourmet cook" features and have been impressed so far.
I recommend this double oven because it's well built and offers a lot of features for the price.

This oven is a dream. It works so well, and has so many useful features. I love that it has a bread proofing setting, which we used with great success. The steam function is essential for getting the perfect crust on homemade French bread. It's beautiful, the display is nice and informative. There's very little to not like about this oven.
Pros
-Beautiful black stainless steel finish
-Large touchscreen shows a lot of information, and looks really good.
-Easy to set up, thanks to the screen and menu system.
-Oven lights are fantastic. With the 2 halogen down shining lights, and the LED door lights, you get a lot of illumination when needed.
-Nice big viewing windows.
-Oven preheats much more quickly than the oven it replaced.
-Flex Duo is quite innovative and allows you to cook 3 dishes at 3 different temperatures with the top oven split, and the using the lower oven separately.
-Lots of baking settings. Love having the dual convection in both ovens.
-The main gliding oven rack is game changing. So nice to have that. Makes taking things out of the oven so much simpler than a standard rack.
-I love the blue LED's on the knobs, and how there's a light that shines on what oven setting you're on, so you can easily tell what setting the oven is set to.
-Samsung listened to owners, and recently updated the firmware, adding an "Always-on" option for the display clock. This is a wonderfully welcome addition, and in my opinion adds an additional touch of class to the already classy oven.
-Even when not set to Smart Cook, the Smartthings app allows you to turn the oven off, which is nice in the event that the oven is left on by mistake.
-Soft close oven doors are fantastic and keep the doors from being slammed closed by accident.
Cons
-Smartthings was a pain to set up. This actually wasn't a fault of the oven, but the version of the Samsung Smarthings Android app. No matter what, the app would not connect to the oven to set it up for app control. After hours of troubleshooting and trying multiple devices to connect it, I installed an older version of the Smartthings app, and it connected immediately.
-Even at full volume, the oven alarms are rather quiet. It can make hearing the preheat complete alert, or kitchen timers difficult. It would be nice if they were a tad bit louder.
-On rare occasion, the display interface has become a bit sluggish, changing between upper and lower oven, changing cooking modes, or opening settings. Most of the time it's fine though.

I'm so excited about this beautiful and elegant double oven. I love how the knobs have a blue glow to them. I was able to bake some cookies and roast chicken in my new range. I like how the WiFi app lets me know when food is ready and how I can turn the range on and off from my phone. It also has steam cooking so you can bake ,broil and roast and leaves your food tender. Another great feature is the safety lock, in case you have little ones. With that said it also has fingerprint resistant and Reduces smudges.Also, the baking racks are sweet to bake cookies on. I definitely recommend this beautiful double oven and plan on baking a lot more with it.

When I first bought this oven we were impressed with the style and design. Within four days the oven stopped working. We had to contact Samsung for a replacement and the replaced the oven. The second oven also has issues and we had to go through Samsung again. This time they wanted to have a tech fix the issue. The issue could not be fix and we are on our third unit and so far so good. For what you pay it was a major headache. Looks good but hey would I do it again? I doubt it.

I bout this two years ago, this oven is great. Very large, lots of options, we use it all the time. Only thing we don't like is the timer you have to double confirm and sometimes we forget to hit start the last time so it never begins counting. But really that is our fault and not the ovens, would definitely recommend.

The unit overheated after 3 uses

I purchased this oven in February and began to have issues with it in March after using it 3 time. Following having a tech come out and check the unit, he told me that the top oven on the unit overheated and the whole unit needed to be replaced. Samsung offered to repair the unit instead of a replacement, which made me upset, but we began the process of getting a repair. In early June, a second tech from a different company, because the first company could not come until late June, was sent but did not have the manpower or parts to fix the unit. Following that visit, Samsung offered to replace my unit. I have yet to receive any information on when my new unit will be shipped. This has been terrible experience!!!

This oven is simply amazing! The black stainless steel finish is elegant and sleek. It is definitely the new direction in home appliances, similar to going from white to stainless steel in the '90s. It integrates into our dark cabinets so much better than the traditional stainless steel. It looks more modern. I was unsure about the knobs and their appearance from their pictures. But when seen live, they are much more appealing than I originally thought. They streamline well with the cabinet hardware we have in the kitchen. The knobs are also very functional. It is very simple to turn the knob to set the type of baking and the temperature than it is to go through a digital screen. I can simply twist and set. The smart display is like having a tablet integrated into your oven. It gives much more information than what you would normally get out of a traditional display, including current status and temperature of each oven. In addition to just information, it does a really cool job of integrating into the cloud. This allows me to see the information on my phone as well. It makes it easy to select special recipes that come with the oven. The performance of the oven is really nice when it comes to the convection part. It is able to cook evenly and thoroughly while using less time. The integrated temperature probe is really nice when cooking larger pieces of meat like a roast or a turkey. You can get real-time up-to-date information on your phone and have it turn off when it reaches the desired temperature. I can't wait to cook my Thanksgiving turkey this year! The oven heats up quickly and cools off silently. My old oven sounded like a tornado after we we turned it off each time. The double-glass insulation is also much cooler to the touch while operating the oven. I was also really impressed with the oven racks. They are much thicker and sturdier than any other oven racks I have owned. I really like that Samsung included 6 racks. The installation was quick and easy. XPO called us to schedule it and within a couple days we were able to get our oven installed in less than an hour. I was worry that it would take a much longer time. Not only was installation fast, but they were able to remove and take our old appliances which saved me the hassle of disposing the old ones. This was a big time saver. The crew was nice and courteous and did a good job of cleaning after themselves. A real top-notch service!

I am in love with this oven! When they first installed it, I was a little overwhelmed with all of the options. But it has turned out to be amazing. It cooks food and baked goods evenly. The feature of the duo flex in the upper oven makes it like I have 3 ovens. It comes with several racks for each oven. We took out 2 racks because we didn't need that much space and it made it easier to not burn myself on a rack trying to pull things in and out. The bottom rack in each oven slides in and out smoothly, which allows for easy access and closing. This helps so much that I'm not pushing and shoving and either spilling food out of the pan or burning my hand trying to get something in or out.
There are so many features when it comes to setting the temperatures and cooking food with these ovens. First, the way that it connects to my SmartThings app is amazing. I can change the temperature, add a timer to turn the oven off and control everything from my app. I often forget to turn off the oven when I am done cooking, so this gives me an easy way to now turn my oven off for safety purposes! It also heats up quickly. I like that it alerts me both through a beep and a notification on my phone that the oven is preheated. The speed at which this oven heats up and is ready for use is quick. It comes with many pre-set cooking options which I haven't tried yet but I'm excited to use. In order to get the recipes, I had to get on Samsung's website and download the cookbook. The presets not only tell you the right temperature but also the best rack position to use in the oven which is helpful.
I didn't think I would like the knobs on the top and the way they stuck out. But it looks well-designed and has a modern feel to the oven. The interface screen along with the knobs is easy to use and understand. The black stainless is perfect in my kitchen. I have espresso-colored cabinets and the black blends very nicely. I also wasn't sure if it would be too dark in the kitchen, but it looks sleek and I think looks better than the silver stainless steel oven I had.
Finally the oven comes with 4 different cleaning options to make it easy to keep pristine. I personally like the option to do either a full-deep clean of the oven or a hybrid clean, which is half the time. This allows me to clean the oven but not feel like I have to fully-commit.. I appreciate these features since I am always busy. It helps me maintain my appliance without having to think. I would definitely recommend!

I recently tried out the Gourmet Cook feature and found it to be very easy to use and follow. Not only can you find matching recipes online with Samsung's Gourmet Cookbook, but the feature will recommend the proper cooking dish to use, show you which rack to place your food on, set the right temperature, pre-heat the oven and then set the proper cook time. I mean how much easier can it get? Even as a trained chef you will probably find this feature to be an easy shortcut when you are in a rush to feed your family. The Roasted Lemon Chicken Thigh recipe we tried came out properly cooked and the chicken was tender and very tasty. On top of these great cooking features are the slow/soft door closure that both the top and bottom ovens have which makes it easy to close the doors when you are handling hot foods. After food spilled and baked on the stove we were able to take advantage of the self-clean function which made easy work of the baked on mess and after a quick wipe of the residue with a damp rag it was as good as new. To top it off the gliding rack is one of my favorite features and they really make it easy when you need to flip your fries or just to check the temperature of your food with a probe. Overall this is an amazing oven and there are so many features we haven't been able to try them all, yet.

I have been using my new Samsung double oven for the past two weeks and still have not been able to use all the features! This oven has been one of the best appliances I have ever had in my kitchen. The day of installation went so smoothly and the installers were extremely professional and made sure everything was working correctly before leaving. The black stainless finish gave our kitchen the perfect blend of sleek design without the shiny stainless we were getting tired of. It has an innovated display which gives options to use the easy to read knobs or touch screen. The screen also provides a Healthy Cook and Gourmet Cook option with preselected cooking recipe options to make meal prep easier. The inside of this large capacity oven is extremely bright and so versatile. It has many adjustable racks which provides so many options for large meal cooking, but my favorite is the gliding rack which makes checking on dishes so convenient and easy to remove from the oven. We have tried roasts, frozen pizzas and casseroles and each one has been cooked evenly from the inside out. There are nine options for cooking mode which includes your standard bake , convection and broil but also has a steam function which I can not wait to try! Each day we discover a new feature with this oven that we absolutely love. It has made cooking so fun and has even helped to get the whole family involved in our meal prep. This double oven was our first Samsung appliance but will definitely not be our last.

We purchased our double wall oven June 2018 during a house remodeled. We started using product at end of oct. since December 5th the oven has not worked. We have contacted Samsung serval times and they always send same techs out that state we are not familiar with this product and it NEVER get corrected. Samsung did finally send a new double wall oven after 4 months and 3 holidays of having to use a $100/ toaster oven to cook but yet they will not install the new one because the company they sent to do so isnt familiar with the product. I also have a Samsung dishwasher that has leaked since the we bought it and they refuse to replace it despite it being under warranty.

I bought this Oven back on January 7th and it arrived January 16th, installed it the first week in February to have it show an error. A technician came on February 15th and ordered parts based strictly off the error code and on March 11th a second technician showed up to install the new parts. Once the Technician arrived and took the back off the oven it was obvious that I had a much more serious issue, as it was missing half the wiring and the wrong harness was installed at the factory, none of the broiling elements were connected and the unit was only wired for 120v as there was nothing connected to the L1 side of the terminal block. My Service Tech said he has never seen anything likes this in the 39 years he has been servicing appliances. He was also concerned that since the oven was wired incorrectly by the manufacturer that he fears there could possibly be other issues with the circuit boards. I don't feel comfortable with even putting this unit in my house and Sears has no idea of what to do either, I have requested to send the unit back and get a refund, but it is sad because all my other appliances in my house are Samsung and now I have been without an oven for over 6 week with no resolution in the near future!

Bought this oven after purchasing a new home. I had the flex duo range in my previous home and replaced the wall oven at the new home with this one. I love Samsung products but hate this oven. It was so noisy, from other reviews I read after purchasing the oven this was a common problem with no resolution. I immediately called Samsung to get team lift and get this out of my house. For over 3K you should have no problems with a oven. The only positive thing I can say about this oven is that Samsung immediately came and picked the oven up and I was issued a refund. I purchased the oven thru Home Depot.

Adventures with my Samsung Double Wall Oven

First off, I got to say that today I am very happy with the performance of my Samsung double wall oven. It didn't start that way. I received my first Samsung double wall oven and had it professionally installed only to find that it would not heat up. The controls worked - but the ovens would not heat up. When I called Samsung and explained what was going on - they quickly arranged for a replacement which arrived by the end of the week. The second one worked fine and was ready for use on Thanksgiving. I used to have a single wall oven with a microwave above it. The Samsung double wall oven fits in the combined spaces perfectly (the double wall oven requires a 51 inch vertical space). It took very minimum cabinetry work to clear out the space for the double oven. Also make sure you have the correct electrical connection: the oven requires 8 gauge wire and a 50 amp 240 volt dedicated breaker. It's a sleek, beautiful unit. I got the black stainless steel version and it looks great next to my black stainless steel Samsung 4 door counter depth refrigerator. I like how the blue leds "point" to the function selected as well as illuminate the dials. You also have several choices on the style of the clock displayed (both analog and digital). Regarding the clock, I read a reviewer who was disappointed that the clock did not remain displayed all the time, a comment my wife made to me as well - but I pointed out to her that all you have to do is swipe the touch screen and the clock is displayed. Its an energy saving technique. Maybe Samsung could have an option to leave it displayed all the time? But four convection fans! Wow! And large windows in the oven doors with leds built-in which do great showing off whats cooking. I used both ovens while preparing our Thanksgiving dinner and they worked well. I kept the turkey in the lower oven and used the upper oven to bake a variety of dishes, including a casserole, muffins and biscuits while the turkey was cooking. What a great convenience to have two ovens! I can't wait to have my next pizza party - and bake 4 pizzas at once! And I hope to be able to post an update sometime with my experiences using the steam bake - I love making fresh bread - and the steam bake sounds great. My only real criticism (other than obvious fault with the units that don't heat) - is that the touchscreen needs a "back" button - several times while I was setting up a bake - the unit would not let me go back a screen.

Enamel chipped inside bottom oven in less than 4 months. Do not use oven every day or pull out racks. Big freekin problem and no one take ownership. After reading TONS of negative reviews, stil wanted the oven. My bad. never, ever gain.

The ovens will not heat up! I bought a brand new unit, got it hooked up and it looks pretty. When it came time to try and bake something, NO HEAT. Samsung has refused to replace it. They sent someone out to fix is and even their own guy wouldn't fix it! Its been over two weeks and still I have not received a solution. They do not allow returns, they wont replace it, they wont fix it...so am I just stuck with a 300lb paperweight. This is by far the worst customer service and lack of common sense I have ever experienced. No one buys something new and without ever using it, ask for it to be repaired. I have gone back and forth with your reps, home depot, left my work, spent hours on a phone and still no resolution.
I have used nothing but Samsung products and this interaction is making me reconsider my loyalty. I replaced my hood, fridge, cook top, double wall oven, dishwasher and washer/ dryer with all Samsung appliances. I want this resolved or come collect your appliances!

I am very disappointed with this oven and am returning it. I am a serious baker--for decades--and none of my time-tested recipes have been successful. On the bake setting (not bake with convection), the oven seems to be a semi-convection and the air circulation, which I think is intended to keep the temperature at a constant temperature, has the result of overcooking the outside of everything. Have tried adjusting temperature and time, with no consistent results. A smaller but irritating issue is that the oven's relay clicks constantly, both as it is preheating and during use. Up to 60 clicks in a few minutes. Might not bother most people but if you are sensitive to such noises, it's a nightmare. Had a repair person come examine and it's not a defect in my oven--this is the way it's designed. I also called, emailed and chatted with Samsung and none of their people seamed to know what a relay was. As long as I am being critical, the timer feature is over-engineered--you have to push three different buttons to get the timing going. A shame because the oven has many wonderful features--very aesthetically appealing, large capacity, large glass doors, and much more. I am so disappointed to send it back but since I am a baker, I can't live with results.

So, let me begging by saying that I do love how this oven cooks. It does everything really well. Now, we get to the issues: Like many of you, i bought this oven because of the features that separated it from the pack. Things like the WiFi connectivity, the WiFi connected temperature probe (THE PROBE IS OFF BY 20 DEGREES!), the ability to interface with the oven via the SmartHome app on my iPhone (WON'T WORK WITH IPHONE...NO SOLUTION PLANNED!!!). Samsung apologized to me countless times but that was ALL they offered. This oven falls so short...DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!

I should have heeded the warnings of the other reviews before purchasing. The WiFi absolutely is not supported on an up to date iPhone- and Samsung has zero interest in fixing it- I've spent hours on the phone trying to get them to help and they have no solution and refuse to replace it.
The steam function works marginally at best- doesn't produce enough steam to properly cook a boule of sourdough or rye bread.
The calibration was way off- I had to adjust the calibration to the max to get it even near the temp the temp I set on the oven.
Do yourself a favor- don't buy this oven!

I've had this oven for almost a year and the wifi connectivity does not work. I've had cases open and technicians replacing parts and still nothing. This oven was expensive and I expect it to perform. Samsung, please fix your products.

Liked the feature set so I bought it. Day 1 first power on then checking controls screen blanks out nothing working. (should have known at that point...) reset breaker came back on. Seemed to be working but not quite right, things took longer than normal to cook. One day I put in some chicken set it to 425 waited for the oven to preheat, put in the chicken set timer for 20 minutes. Timer goes off chicken not cooked. Get out my calibrated Fluke 52 II and checked the oven it was 305 not 425 like the oven said it was. turned it to convection and it said 305 hmmmm. The other issue is the electronics cooling fan vibrates so bad I can hear it in the living room! Awful menus just to set the timer; touch set time, touch the timer to set, touch each digit twice to get keypad, select digits, do the same 3 times, touch set time, then touch start! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????
